President Donald Trump holds rally in Fargo, North Dakota on June 27

Heitkamp says she also talked about worldwide trade, oil prices and health care-related issues with the president.

Then the president begged Democrats to "please, please" keep Pelosi as their party leader 'and please keep Maxine Waters on the air as your face and your mouthpiece for the Democrat Party'.

The president even claimed his presidency is the real cause behind a recent decline in National Football League ratings, noting that no one has the time to watch National Football League "because everybody is watching us on the different cable networks".

President Donald Trump has claimed his supporters should be referred to as the "super elite" after last week claiming he was better than his "elite" opponents because he had more money and a bigger house. North Dakota is the fourth state the president has visited in the past week.

Trump slammed the Number Four House Democrat during his campaign rally in Fargo, North Dakota on Wednesday night.

Rep. Kevin Cramer, R-ND, speaks at the 2018 North Dakota Republican Party Convention in Grand Forks, N.D., April 7, 2018.

On Wednesday night, President Donald Trump was met with thunderous applause at a North Dakota rally where he threatened supporters with anarchy if they didn't vote Republican in the upcoming elections. But, referring to the rally, said, "Maybe because of this she will be forced to vote 'yes'".

Was the loss to Belgium a reality check for England?
I don't think mentally we lose anything because they know we've made changes and they know Belgium weren't their full team. Belgium beat England , 1-0, to win Group G and officially set the bracket for the knockout stage of the 2018 World Cup .

"On behalf of the most forgotten people", Cramer said to the president as both men took the stage to deafening applause, "the unborn babies, thank you for standing for life". He said he hopes Kennedy's replacement will serve for 40 or 45 years.

In Fargo, Trump decried Wednesday what he deemed unfair treatment from other countries and said he aims to make trade "fair and reciprocal". He argued Heitkamp will vote against his pick, although she supported his first nominee, Neil Gorsuch.

In a statement, Heitkamp dismissed Trump's attacks as "election-year politics" and said she was eager to work with Republicans, "including with the president".

Trump told the crowd of approximately 6,000 people at Fargo's Scheels Arena that he was "very honored" Kennedy chose to retire while Trump was in office because "he felt confident in me to make the right choice and carry on his great legacy".

"I don't answer to a political party or president", she said.

"They say Trump is starting a trade war", he said. With the upcoming confirmation fight over Anthony Kennedy's successor, Trump seems to have realized that a Republican is more valuable than a Democrat in the Senate, no matter how friendly the latter might be. North Dakota's agricultural economy is dependent on exports and the Beijing government recently imposed a 25 percent tariff on soybeans, the state's top crop.
