All Blacks on brink of history in England Test

The England coach insists Owen Farrell's controversial injury-time tackle on Andre Esterhuizen in the 12-11 victory over South Africa on Saturday highlights the pressure officials are under.

The clock had ticked past the 80-minute mark at Twickenham with England desperately trying to keep the Springboks at bay when Farrell smashed into replacement Andre Esterhuizen, knocking him back and dislodging the ball.

Farrell avoiding a citing means England's star playmaker is free to face the All Blacks at Twickenham on Saturday (Sunday NZ time) but his hit on Esterhuizen was the major talking point of an otherwise uneventful test.

One of the main talking points from the weekend's clash came late in the game when England's Owen Farrell somehow escaped any sanctions for a unsafe tackle on Springbok André Esterhuizen.

Meanwhile, South Africa head coach Rassie Erasmus showed his bemusement at the judgment of referee Angus Gardner and TMO Olly Hodges.

"We've got Courtney training fully and in that back five of the scrum, you saw Charlie Ewels come on at six at the weekend, so we've got a lot of good quality players back there".

Iran sanctions: "Maximum" economic pressure, Treasury's Mnuchin says
We've got Brent crude at about the same price it was back in May when the president announced the withdrawal from the JCPOA. The Trump administration has reimposed all sanctions previously put on hold under the Obama-era Iran Nuclear Deal.

"The most important thing is what we do next", Jones answered. We lost a few games but we played tough today and we won.

'I just think the game is getting more intense. As you know he injured his ankle. Because you guys (the media) want to sack me, is that why? "If I stay long enough you're going to get me sacked, so one day you're going to be happy".

However, the former Australia and Japan coach was concerned by yet another match where England conceded a raft of penalties, with lock Maro Itoje sin-binned in the first half.

England have not played the 2011 and 2015 world champions for four years.

"They play the game differently".

"It was a good Test match".
