NFL Investigating 2nd Incident In Which Kareem Hunt Punched A Man

Kareem Hunt has acknowledged lying to the Kansas City Chiefs about his role in a February assault in a Cleveland hotel that ultimately led to his release this week. Besides asking them to survey the footage, the victim wanted the Cleveland PD to retrieve the sim card Kareem Hunt had stolen from her phone before kicking her out the lobby.

Not only is Kareem Hunt under NFL investigation for the incident that took place back in February, but it appears that the league is also looking into a second incident involving Hunt that took place during the offseason.

Hunt, who was released by the Chiefs after being placed on the NFL's Commissioner Exempt List on Friday, was seen on the video shoving and kicking a 19-year-old woman in the early hours of February 10. The team said it had been made aware of the incident earlier in the year and management had spoken with Hunt, but the video made clear he was "not truthful in those discussions".

Hunt was asked point blank Sunday morning, during his ESPN interview, if he'd had any contact with her and he denied it. adding he "barely knew her".

"The Chiefs did what was right", Hunt said. "I'm going to take the time to better myself, learn from this, get some help if needed, talk to people and really just take this really serious".

But the video, which shows Hunt shoving the woman several times and kicking her as others try to hold him back, led the National Football League to place Hunt on the "Commissioner Exempt List", preventing him from playing, practicing or attending games.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Putin clasped each other's hands and smiled widely as they greeted each other Friday. The world will have to wait a little longer for an update on how Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping are getting on.

Hunt said he was raised right by his family and that the incident was out of character for him.

The league has implemented a stronger domestic violence policy, but incidents have continued to make news.

"I realized what I did once I saw the video", he said in the interview with ESPN. "We all care about you.' It was a tough conversation", Hunt said. Hunt pushes the woman, who responds by hitting him in the face. "I made a bad choice and I'm not going to let this bring me down". "I'm sure he learned some lessons this off-season and hopefully won't be in those kinds of situations in the future", he said.

Hunt, 23, was accused of punching the male guest at the Bay Lodging Resort in Put-in-Bay back in June after he got into a verbal confrontation with him. Hunt was not asked by Salters about a June incident in which he allegedly punched a man at a OH resort. If he goes unclaimed, then Hunt will become a free agent. And with a soft schedule down the stretch, including two games against the Raiders, there is plenty of time for their offense to adjust to life without Hunt in the backfield.

The dispute occurred after the accuser and her friend were asked to leave the apartment but remained in the hallway outside, making noise and banging on the apartment door, the reports say.
